Nihongo Dominos collects nothing. Everything you do stays on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising IDs. The app does not send any information about you, your device, or your activity to any server.
What is stored on your device
Your study progress, Challenge Box review schedule, settings, and optional state (active tier, audio preference, study mode) are stored locally on your device, inside the app's own data container. This data never leaves your device.
Network and third parties
The app makes no network requests after installation. All HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and language data are bundled directly into the app and run on-device. No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are loaded.
Speech and notifications
Audio playback uses your device's built-in text-to-speech (Apple's on-device speech synthesizer). No audio is sent to any external service.
Optional Challenge Box reminders are local notifications: scheduled and delivered entirely by your iPhone, with no push server involved. You can disable them in Settings at any time.
Children
The app does not collect personal information from any user, of any age. It is not specifically designed for children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated text will appear at this page with a new effective date. Material changes (if any) will be summarized here so you do not have to re-read the whole thing.
